A Warm Welcome


It was a stressful journey. Everything that could go wrong, went wrong. The flight was delayed. The luggage got lost at Barcelona Airport, and we had to hang round waiting for an hour and a half, very conscious of the fact that the ship was leaving in an hour and we had a 40 minute drive to the port and we were meant to board at least an hour and a half before setting sail. Fortunately, our worst fear wasn't realised. The ship didn't leave without us. Although we were very anxious through dinner, as our luggage still hadn't arrived, and we were leaving port. Luckily, when we returned to our cabins, our luggage was there, and we were given a warm welcome from Sean, the cabin attendant, who looked after us very well throughout the duration of the cruise. We were too tired to even consider that night's entertainment, or even take a look around the ship.
