to love and to cherish, till death us do part

My favourite part of the original wedding vows.

I am writing a week too late, concerning the amazing wedding I attended last weekend. My Aunt and Uncle, after many happy years together, are finally married.

Rather than going into great detail about the ceremony and the reception afterwards, I will just point out the highlights.

I wore one of my new dresses (discussed in previous posts). Yet I still sat there in envy as others in the congregation passed in their new dresses. I WANT ALL THE DRESSES!

The food was amazing. I went up for seconds, despite my new strict diet, to ensure that I will fit into the dress through the entirety of the summer holidays - and hopefully for evermore.

I loved seeing all the family. The newly weds, my cousins, my sisters, my nieces and nephews (I couldn't believe how much they have all grown), and (dare I say it) the brother-in-laws. It was a delight to also spend the Sunday with my sisters and their families.

I really enjoyed the weekend. And I look forward to seeing everyone again really really soon!
