I'd like to recommend the film "Karate Kid", directed by Will Smith and starring his son, Jaden Smith. It didn't seem to get very good reviews in the papers, so I was a bit apprehensive as to whether I should see it. In the end, I saw it with my family on Friday. It is really worth going to see. Don't expect miracles, and you probably won't buy it on DVD, but it is worth seeing once.
Following this cinema trip, I then had several days of visiting family and being the hostess to some of my wonderful friends. When all this hardcore socialising was coming to an end, I went to see Toy Story 3 in 3D with some of my particularly cool and awesome friends. And before you judge me for seeing it, may I remind you, that we have been avid followers of Toy Story for years. We have been waiting for this third film. And like they promised, it has arrived, even if a little late. We have a right to see it. And I am glad we did, because (just as they had promised) it was brilliant. And for your information, we weren't the oldest ones in there.
I am having quite a lot of difficulty writing this. My mother managed to persuade me to get a French Manicure. So I now have some nice, aesthetically pleasing fake nails. Unfortunately, they are ridiculously long, and impossible to live with. My life is over. I can no longer text. I can no longer type. I can no longer play the piano.
